  • 1 pound Argentinian Red Shrimp or flash-frozen as substitute
  • 2 teaspoons Sea Salt for boiling
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice fresh juice preferred
  • 2 stalks Celery finely diced
  • 3 tablespoons Green Onions or chives
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Red Wine Vinegar
  • 2 cloves Fresh Garlic or garlic powder as substitute
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika or smoked paprika for flavor
For the Herb Mayo Dressing
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise or Greek yogurt as lighter substitute
  • 2 tablespoons Dill fresh
  • 2 tablespoons Chives fresh
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley fresh
  • 1 tablespoon Capers optional
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Cracked Pepper to taste
For the Buns
  • 4 pieces Hot Dog Buns gluten-free if needed
  • 2 tablespoons Butter unsalted preferred

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Boil a large pot of water and add 2 teaspoons of sea salt along with the lemon juice.
  2. Mix the mayo dressing ingredients in a separate bowl.
  3. Cook the shrimp by adding them to the boiling water for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Transfer the shrimp to an ice bath to halt cooking.
  5. Butter the inside and tops of the hot dog buns, then broil for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Chop the shrimp and combine with the mayo mixture.
  7. Stuff the shrimp mixture into the broiled buns.
  8. Garnish each roll with additional lemon juice, sea salt, pepper, and chopped parsley.
