Ingredients

For the Fries
  • 2 pounds Potatoes fresh or frozen
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme or Italian seasoning
For the Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Seasoned Salt or regular salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper freshly cracked
For the Garnish
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley chopped, or dried parsley
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese grated

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Mixing Bowl
  • deep skillet

Method

Preparation
  1. Prepare Potatoes: Start by cutting fresh potatoes into fry shapes, aiming for uniform thickness to ensure even cooking. If using frozen fries, simply measure out the desired amount for a quick shortcut.
  2. Mix Spices: In a mixing bowl, combine minced garlic, dried thyme, seasoned salt, freshly cracked pepper, and chopped fresh parsley.
  3. Coat Fries: Toss your prepared potatoes into the spice mixture, stirring gently until each fry is evenly coated.
  4. Bake or Fry: Spread the coated fries in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake at 425°F (218°C) for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown. Or, heat oil in a deep skillet and fry the potatoes until crispy, about 4-6 minutes.
  5. Add Cheese: While the fries are still hot, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over them, allowing the cheese to melt slightly.
  6. Serve: Enjoy your Garlic Parmesan Fries warm, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
