How to Make Danish Pork Meatballs
- In a large bowl, combine ground pork, milk, oats, all-purpose flour, eggs, finely chopped onions, salt, and pepper. Use a spoon or hand mixer to blend until the mixture is well combined and slightly sticky.
- Heat a generous amount of butter or oil in a frying pan over medium heat until shimmering but not smoking.
- With lightly wet hands or a spoon, scoop out the meat mixture and shape it into small meatballs about 1-2 inches in diameter.
- Carefully place the meatballs in the hot pan, frying them for 5-10 minutes. Turn them regularly for even cooking.
- Once cooked through and crispy on the outside, transfer the meatballs to a plate. Pair them with boiled potatoes or serve them on rye bread.
