Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 1 cup Falooda sev/noodles Chewy texture; can be skipped if unavailable.
  • 2 tablespoons Basil seeds Soak in water for a few hours.
  • 1 package Jelly crystals (Jello) Prepare according to instructions and cut into pieces.
For the Sweet Layer
  • 1/2 cup Rooh Afza syrup Provides floral sweetness.
  • 1 cup Milk Optional for adjusting thickness.
For the Creamy Top
  • 2 scoops Kulfi or vanilla ice cream Choose kulfi for tradition.
  • 1/4 cup Crushed almonds or pistachios Optional garnishing.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Prepare the Falooda sev/noodles according to the package instructions. Once cooked, store them in cold water.
  2. Soak the basil seeds in water for a few hours. This allows them to swell and become crunchy.
  3. Prepare the jelly crystals as per the package directions. Once set, cut into small pieces.
Assembly
  1. Layer in tall glasses, starting with Rooh Afza syrup, followed by Falooda sev, soaked basil seeds, and jelly pieces.
  2. Top with kulfi or vanilla ice cream and sprinkle with crushed almonds or pistachios.
  3. Serve immediately for the best experience.
