Preparation
- In a small bowl, mix dried basil, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper thoroughly.
- Generously rub half of your seasoning mix into both sides of the skinless salmon fillets.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the salmon flesh side down and sear for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and chopped sun-dried tomatoes. Sauté on low heat for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken stock to deglaze the pan, scraping up any brown bits stuck to the bottom.
- Stir in the heavy cream, fresh parmesan cheese, and the remaining seasoning mix until the cheese is melted.
- Raise the heat to medium-low and let the sauce simmer for about 10-15 minutes until it thickens.
- Gently place the seared salmon back into the skillet and spoon the creamy sauce over it. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes.
- Plate your Marry Me Salmon drizzled with sauce and garnished with fresh basil.
