Steps
- Start by chopping your onions and mincing the garlic. If using chicken breasts, cube them for even cooking.
- Layer the chicken, pineapple, garlic, onions, soy sauce, and brown sugar in the crockpot.
- Set your crockpot on low for 6 hours.
- If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with water and stir into the crockpot during the last 30 minutes.
- Once cooking is complete, shred the chicken with two forks, mix everything together, and serve over rice, noodles, or in tacos.
