How to Make Philly Cheesesteak Sloppy Joes
  1. Warm olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add diced yellow onion and green bell pepper and sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened.
  3. Stir in chopped cremini mushrooms and minced garlic; sauté for another 5 minutes.
  4. Add lean ground beef and cook until fully browned; drain excess fat.
  5. In a bowl, mix Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, cornstarch, beef broth, salt, and pepper; pour over beef and veggies in skillet.
  6. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes until sauce thickens.
  7. Sprinkle shredded provolone cheese over the mixture and stir until melted.
  8. Spoon filling onto toasted brioche buns and serve warm.
