How to Make Rainbow Popcorn
- Pop the Kernels: Begin by popping 180 grams of corn kernels using a microwave or on the stovetop according to package instructions.
- Prepare the Sugar Colors: In six separate containers, divide 18 tablespoons of sugar (3 tablespoons each). Add food coloring and shake until colored.
- Mix Colors (Optional): Combine primary colors to create secondary ones, like mixing red and yellow for orange.
- Melt the Sugar: In a saucepan, take one color of sugar, add 1 teaspoon of water, and heat over medium until melted.
- Coat the Popcorn: Add a handful of popped popcorn into the melted sugar and mix until evenly coated.
- Repeat with Remaining Colors: Clean the pan and repeat the melting and coating process with other colors.
