How to Make Burned Garlic Fried Rice
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over medium heat to prepare for frying.
- Add the chopped garlic and sauté until crisp and golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Reserve two teaspoons of the garlic for garnishing later.
- Incorporate finely chopped green beans, carrot, bell pepper, and the white parts of the spring onion. Stir for about 5 minutes until tender and vibrant.
- Gently mix in cooked rice along with reserved garlic, black pepper, soy sauce, vinegar, salt, and sugar. Stir well.
- Continue to cook while stirring for about 3-5 minutes until heated through and flavors meld.
- Plate the fried rice and sprinkle the crispy garlic and green parts of the spring onion on top.

Notes
Optional: Garnish with a squeeze of lime for a zesty finish! Use day-old rice for the best texture and adjust seasoning to taste.
